Downloading profiles and how to see them in Synapse 3 | Razer Insider (2024)

I'm new to the razer products and I was trying to download profiles for my keyboard (Blackwidow TE Chroma) but all the profiles lead me to xml files and I don't know how to get those to show up on the Synapse 3 app. Any guidance for newbies with Razer products? Thanks

Synapse is where you register your R Λ Z Ξ R account and your R Λ Z Ξ R products. Some products require Synapse 2.0 otherwise 3.0

Select the profiles you would like to export by left-clicking their checkbox and click "EXPORT". Note: You will be prompted on the save location of the exported file once you click "EXPORT".
Click on "Open Razer Synapse". Under "System", click the ellipsis icon then click "Import". Click the folder icon under "Browse". Navigate to the location where the profile you want to import is saved and click "Open".
Click “CUSTOMIZE” in Synapse 3.In The New Razer Synapse, choose a profile and click “CUSTOMIZE”.Click on the name of the button you want to program a profile to.Click on “SWITCH PROFILE”.
Go to “PROFILES” > “LINKED GAMES”. Click on any game from the list. Click “Select a device and its profile to launch automatically during gameplay” to select the Razer device or Chroma Effect it will link with.
Click on the memory card icon to assign a profile to the on-board memory of your Razer mouse. Note: Refer to your manual to see if your Razer mouse has on-board memory. Drag the profile to whichever profile color you want once the “ON-BOARD MEMORY” section is open.
First, click the Minecraft Tab and look for the "Create a Custom Profile" button. If you look towards the top, you will see a link to instead "Import" a profile: Clicking this button will prompt you to select a file. Navigate to the profile that you would like to import.
Within the project, you may see a series of folders. Any standalone files are downloadable using the down arrow icon in the Download column for that file (1). You can click the > arrow next to any folder to expand it and view its files within (2).
Open a new File Explorer window from the Start menu (Windows System → File Explorer), or press the keyboard shortcut Windows key + E .Click the location bar.Type %USERPROFILE% and press Enter .
Launch The New Razer Synapse on your secondary PC. Go to “SETTINGS” > “Last sync” and click the “SYNC” button. Note: There will be a prompt to confirm the download if there is a profile conflict; if none, an auto-download of the profile will be performed.
Open Razer Synapse and go to the “MACRO” tab. Click on the import icon on the top of the “MACRO LIST” beside the plus icon. Browse to the location of your macro files and select the macro you want to import. Click “Open.” The selected macro will be added to your “MACRO LIST,” ready for key binding.
When starting the computer, the devices themselves load the profile saved in them, and then Razer Synapse 3 is loaded, which automatically switches the profile of all devices to "Games".
Plug a Razer Synapse 3-enabled product into your computer.
Open Razer Synapse 3.
Select "MACRO".
Click on the plus icon "+". Note: By default, macro profiles will be named Macro 1, Macro 2, and so on. Rename your macro for easier identification. ...
